I haven't tested it in awhile but last time I tried I had a tank with stalkers and some other fish and over time it had nothing but stalkers in it so I assume they do actually eat the prey fish if you leave them together for long enough. Each Alien Containment has a max capacity of 10 fish, though I am not sure if that is a single inventory square fish like Peepers or if medium to large take up more "slots". A really good distance.Īnd be sure to build Alien Containment 2-3 stacked high to allow for the room they need.
So be sure to release a good distance away from the base you raised them in. Kinda funny if it s Rabbitrays, kinda not funny if it's Stalkers or Gasopods. many species seem to want to come back home to the base you raised them in.

They may or may not turn immediately aggro (mixed finding on ti this- some players have had predators stay tame after release, some have had them go aggro right away.), but the do immediately grow to full size.
