With that in mind, we brought forth an exercise to show just how little experience the receiving corp has by ranking them from bottom to top. At least Tanner McEvoy, Amara Darboh, Cyril Grayson and David Moore can say they've spent at least a year with Wilson throwing them the ball but they've rarely been able to take whatever they've learned to a living, breathing NFL game if ever. Baldwin and Lockett raise their hands and no one else in that regard. Russell Wilson doesn't have a ton of players with NFL experience to throw the ball and he has even less who possess proven chemistry with him. And even with Marshall's addition, that idea largely rings true. Outside of Doug Baldwin, Jaron Brown and Tyler Lockett, the Seahawks receiving corp was filled with unknowns and the players who are somewhat known have barely played.
The Seattle Seahawks wide receivers unit has a great many number of wide receivers at this point - 12 to be exact - but until the presumed signing of Brandon Marshall (which is not official yet), they were very much lacking in snaps and experience.
